Dennis Publishing has expanded into customer publishing with the launch of Dennis Communications.
Headed up by former Maxim editor Derek Harbinson as editorial director and Tim Farthing as commercial director, Dennis Communications will offer both online and magazine publishing services including video.
Dennis said its digital magazines will use online tracking tools which will allow the client to monitor its customer’s consumption of the title.
James Tye, CEO at Dennis Publishing, said: ‘Dennis Communications will take customer publishing into the 21st Century. Launching Dennis Communications is yet another way Dennis Publishing is capitalising on its strengths in digital media, by applying our experience to a different, fast growing sector.
‘With embedded video, full interactivity for readers and complete accountability for the client, Dennis Communication’s digital customer magazines offer clients a new, far greener product to sit alongside their traditional direct mail or printed customer magazines.”
Harbinson is a former editor of Maxim and Loaded magazines. Before that he worked as editor-in-chief at Haymarket Customer Publishing where he launched Jaguar Racing, Jaguar Cars, and Manchester United magazine. He was also part of the launch team for men’s weekly, Nuts.
Dennis has previously customer publishing experience, having launched digital magazines for Ford and Playstation in 2007.
