The Wall Street Journal is expected to announce about 50 redundancies this week, the first downsizing seen at the title since Rupert Murdoch bought it in late 2007.
According to Condé Nast Portfolio, a similar number of cuts are due at Dow Jones Newswires and one of the WSJ’s bureaux could be closed under the plans.
