BBC TV and radio star Jonathan Ross has instructed Schillings to begin libel proceedings against the publisher of the Sunday Telegraph.
MediaGuardian.co.uk says a writ has been filed at the high court relating to a story in January headlined: “Daniel Craig leaves ‘desperate Jonathan Ross shaken and stirred”.
Ross issued the writ against Telegraph Media Group last Friday. The case has been assigned to procedural judge Master Leslie, who will hear initial stages of the claim and decide how the case goes ahead.
No copies of the writ are available yet.
