Condé Nast has appointed three of its senior editorial managers to control content across its 12 websites, splitting the responsibility into fashion, beauty and entertainment & lifestyle.
The “channel managers” will work across all CondéNet UK websites, including Vogue.com, GQ.com and Tatler.com.
The UK editor of Vogue.com, Dolly Jones, has been appointed fashion channel manager. She retains editorship of Vogue.com, where she has been for eight years, and will take on responsibility for all fashion content across CondéNet UK online brands.
Editor of Glamour.com, Natasha Aitken, will oversee online beauty content. Aikten joined Condé Nast in July this year from editing Hearst Digital’s Handbag.com.
Heading up entertainment and lifestyle content is Tony Cross, the former publisher of now defunct style magazine The Face. Cross also joined the company in July, moving from ITV.com.
Emanuela Pignataro, country manager for CondéNet UK, said: “With our three newly appointed channel managers our sites will provide even stronger, high quality, high-end content that we have the reputation for delivering, complemented by the best in website design and technology for our users and our advertisers.
‘This new editorial structure is another example of the significant investment we are making in CondéNet UK and internationally to drive the business forward, offering compelling online destinations for our users and valuable environments for our advertisers.”
This restructuring process will be replicated across the countries that make up CondéNet International including Italy and Russia.
