Two ‘grey’ titles join Publishing Partners portfolio

By Press Gazette

Publishing Partners, which produces Your Home and Garden and Snow magazine, has acquired two titles aimed at the “grey” market.

The Hertfordshire company has taken over Active Life and Mature Tymes, formerly owned by Computer Publishing.

“They have a superb track record,” said editorial director Lee Bearton. “We intend to grow the titles and make them even more interesting for current loyal readers and to attract new people. We’re sure we can quickly make a difference and are looking forward to the challenge.”

Active Life, a 70-page glossy monthly, is aimed at the over-50s and is available on subscription. Free tabloid paper Mature Tymes is for the over-60s.

Paul Jacques, who edits both titles, has also joined the company as an editorial director.
