Daily Sport editor-in-chief Tony Livesey has landed a new television series on BBC Two, and revealed that he’s had a long-term hankering to be in front of the camera.
“I’ve always wanted to be a television presenter.
I’ve already appeared on Have I Got News For You and proved I can hold my own,” Livesey told Press Gazette.
The quiz show, called Traitor, features nine contestants who have to discover two spies in their midst, and vote suspects off. The winners pick up a £5,000 cash prize.
“There’s no script and it’s 45 minutes of ad-libbing. It’s replacing The Simpsons for a week so my son hates me already,” he added.
BBC Two’s Traitor starts its five-day run on Monday at 6pm
