A complaint of bullying at the Daily Record resulted in a five-day disciplinary hearing in which 24 reporters and executives were questioned.
Reporter Thomas Smith, backed by the NUJ, had invoked the grievance procedure after making an official complaint against news editor Tom Hamilton.
He and Hamilton stayed away from work while the inquiry was conducted. Both are now back after the hearing closed on Monday.
Managing director Mark Hollinshead said the inquiry was an internal matter which had been fully resolved.
The Scottish Daily Record & Sunday Mail has declared a policy of zero tolerance of bullying. Executives are to be trained by the human resources department in the precepts of its new policy of Dignity at Work.
