Six new journalism jobs found today

An information business wire is hiring an editor (£35K) to join the financial side of its business. You will work in a team of four and will edit and publish financial research and data to the newswire service. You will be an editor who has worked with analysts and have had experience producing reports on companies, international finance and capital markets.

Job location: London

A provider of financial business information is looking for an editor (£30-35K). You will support a network of analysts across Europe working in conjunction with team editors. You will edit, proof and publish articles. You will be from a financial editorial background, preferably within an online environment. Exposure of international finance, capital markets and covering company reports would an advantage. DTP and HTML proficiency would be beneficial.

Steel Business Briefing, a provider of business news to the global iron and steel sector is hiring editors/assistant editors. You will write or edit business news daily and manage a team of reporters. You should have a knowledge of one or two foreign languages and multi-media skills.

News of the World magazine is looking for a deputy lifestyle editor on a 12-month contract. You must have a contacts book and ability to break big stories. You should be a good writer and copy editor with a keen eye for innovative design. This is a senior role. You must have at least two years’ experience working for a national newspaper or magazine.

A global online retailer is hiring online content editor (£28-32K) on an 11-month contract. You will be a product expert, responsible for all editorial/merchandising in a specific area of the web site. This job is a combination of editorial and marketing, with a goal of increasing traffic and sales through compelling, commercial content. You will have online experience on a commercial site. Exposure in the Health and/or Beauty market will be a huge bonus.

A B2B editorial magazine is hiring an editorial assistant (£14K). You will assist the editor by writing features, regulars and preparing news copy, as well as conducting interviews. This job also offers the opportunity to travel on press trips and to key exhibitions and you will be expected to represent the magazine at various trade shows. You should have some journalism experience.
