A football magazine “with a difference” is set go monthly following the success of a pilot issue in October, writes Alyson Fixter.
F.C. Business, published by Baltic, is aimed at managers and club chairmen.
Baltic said the response to the pilot was “so overwhelming” that they rushed out another issue for Christmas in advance of the new monthly schedule.
Publisher Andy Mullen said: “We distributed F.C. Business to every football club we could locate at every level of football throughout the UK, from Arsenal FC to Shetland AFA.
“We anticipated a warm response, but found we have had to employ additional staff to cope with the overwhelming feedback.
“It was very satisfying to hear from first-issue readers telling us that our articles on fund raising and stadia development influenced them in how they tackled similar issues at their own football clubs.”
