Archant’s Hertfordshire free newspaper The Comet has launched a new edition, covering Biggleswade, Potton, Sandy and the surrounding villages, and plans two more launches in the county this year.
A total of 11,000 copies of The Comet will be distributed free to the Biggleswade area. Editor Darren Isted said the new edition, launched on 1 May, will carry more than a dozen change pages of news, leisure and sport.
Commenting on the launch, Archant Hertfordshire regional director Garry Matthews said: “The finished product is a tribute to the hard work put in by the team over the past few months and the success of this new title is a prelude to two further launches which are planned for Hertfordshire later this year.”
