A UK-based movie trade magazine start-up is to go monthly and double its print run on its fourth edition.
Factory magazine, run by former PR agency director Howard Webster, has put out three one-off free issues in the past year, which have been distributed in Europe and the US. It currently has a print run of 22,000.
Webster originally ran the magazine from his Kilburn flat, and paid for the start-up by maxing out his gold credit card twice over.
He said he was attracting upscale companies to advertise luxury goods to the magazine’s wealthy audience.
