South Yorkshire Newspapers journalists continued industrial action over pay and conditions with two days of strikes and working to rule.
Last month, an 85 per cent majority of NUJ members at the 22-strong chapel voted in favour of action against the Johnston Press-owned company.
The NUJ has complained that qualified senior journalists on the South Yorkshire weekly titles can earn less than £17,000, whereas journalists on the Johnston-owned weeklies in Sheffield earn £19,000.
The SYN chapel says that it is concerned about "the ever diminishing number of editorial staff" and technical problems, as well as the pay offer of 2.75 per cent.
