Contract magazine publisher Square One Group is to launch a new magazine for insurance company Churchill next month.
Churchill magazine is expected to adopt the same “cheerful humorous tone” of the company’s advertising campaign and aims to have features, advice and competitions written in a jargon-free editorial style.
Churchill is hoping the launch will attract more customers by raising the profile of the company. The editorial will also have a ‘real life’ element, capturing the lives of Churchill customers and looking at the issues they face on a daily basis. It will be published three times a year.
Square One Group had to go through a four-way pitch before it was awarded the contract. Square One Director, Sean King, said it was a significant win.
“We are really excited about creating an effective title that will reflect the brand’s trustworthy, down-toearth personality and, ultimately, make a real difference to sales,” he said.
Square One was set up 10 years ago. It owns a number of B2B and consumer magazines and produces titles for Waterstone’s, Saks Hair & Beauty, David Morris International, Visit Britain and Britannia Airways.
