Scottish groups launch joint motoring site

By Press Gazette

Two Trinity Mirror newspaper groups have launched a joint classified advertising site for motors in Scotland.

Scotwheels is a joint venture between Scottish Daily Record & Sunday Mail and Scottish and Universal Newspapers, which publishes 32 local newspapers.

The site will feature motoring news, car reviews, road tests and buying advice.

Mark Hollinshead, managing director of the Scottish Daily Record and Sunday Mail said: "The launch of Scotwheels represents a significant step forward in the development of Trinity Mirror's digital strategy in Scotland.

"Scotcareers, our recruitment website, has already established itself in just two years, as an essential choice for both recruiters and jobseekers throughout Scotland."
