Redesign and new website for Overseas Trade

By Press Gazette

By Mary Stevens

Overseas Trade, the magazine that encourages British companies to enter international markets, has redesigned and launched online.

The old masthead has been replaced with a new design that matches the website and the pages have been made cleaner and easier to navigate.

The site, www.overseas-trade.co.uk, is edited by Alex Beatty. It will carry its own content, news, online polls, a discussion forum and an archive.

The monthly magazine contains articles on international trading opportunities and advises on how to make the most of them. Each issue will now look at specific sectors as well as countries.

Overseas Trade editor Janet Tibble said: “The website will allow us more space to expand on articles and provide additional information. It will also encourage interaction with our readership.”

Her deputy, Lorraine Taylor, joined the magazine two weeks ago.

The website is being designed and built by AMD Online, whose sister company AMD Brass Tacks publishes the magazine. Both are produced on behalf of Trade Partners UK.

The magazine has a circulation of 30,069.
