Property title scrums down for the World Cup

By Press Gazette

Property Week has produced a special issue to tie in with the Rugby World Cup in Australia.

Instead of the traditional red and white design, the special issue uses green and gold and moves the “Down Under” masthead to the bottom of the front page. It features 28 pages of Australian coverage.

The move was designed to reflect property’s links with rugby and Australia’s real estate market.

Players such as Michael Lynagh, Rob Andrew and Andy Irvine have all had parallel careers in property and Property Week owner CMPi is flying out 1,000 copies to Australia this weekend for the hundreds of readers currently out there for the World Cup.

Features editor Tristan McConnell spent two weeks in Sydney and Melbourne in October researching the Australian market. He interviewed Australian developer Greg Paramor and profiled a series of property tycoons travelling to Sydney this week.

The 128-page issue, led by new editor Giles Barrie, also features a spread on the future of Australian financiers and developers.
