More ‘news-based’ Littlejohn back for second Sky series

By Press Gazette

Richard Littlejohn returned to Sky News this week for a revamped series of his debate show which producers said would be “more news-based”.

Launched in January, the hour-long, twice weekly Littlejohn ran until the end of June. Each edition of the new series will be 30-minutes long and be broadcast at 7pm from Monday to Thursday. It is produced at Sky’s recently refurbished Millbank studios.

“The new format will be more newsbased, but we won’t be ignoring the humour and satire that comes naturally to Richard,” said executive producer Steve Clark. “A lot has happened while we’ve been off air and it’s still happening. We can’t wait to get to grips with it.”

Littlejohn added: “I’m delighted to be back for another run with double the number of shows. This gives us the opportunity to extend the scope and depth of the issues we intend to pursue.”
