Free daily Metro has signed a deal with the NHS to produce a series of Metro Health Zone supplements.
The monthly eight-page pullout is sponsored by the NHS, with information provided by Dr Foster – a company which publishes health information guides. The supplements focus on areas such as mental health, diet and exercise and go out in all of Metro’s million copies across the country.
The first Metro Health Zone concentrated on sexual health and included an exclusive interview with Louise Redknapp in which she talked about husband Jamie’s infertility problems.
Metro health editor Jamie Walters said: “This is a useful, easy-to-read, nospin guide to health and well-being issues and local services.”
