BBC Magazines held its first Editorial Excellence Awards this month,
judged by an independent panel including Press Gazette editor Ian
Reeves and former Good Housekeeping editor Pat Roberts Cairns. Winners
included the Roly Mo Show magazine for Launch of the Year, Charlie
Turner of Top Gear for Art Editor/Director of the Year and Gill Hudson
of Radio Times, pictured above, for Editor of the Year.

publisher Yandell, which produces food, leisure and travel trade
titles, has taken over I&J Publishing, which publishes Short Breaks
magazine and Cruise. Ian Field, the proprietor of I&J, will
continue with the business as managing director.
