Children’s magazine publisher Egmont has won a contract to produce a McDonald’s magazine.
The fast-food chain will distribute two million copies of a series of issues to children throughout its UK branches. The deal is the first to be signed by Barbara Patterson, Egmont’s newly appointed head of contract publishing. Patterson joined the company from Emap, where she was director of youth magazines. She was previously involved in the launch of The Independent and GMTV.
