Back them, rather than shame them

Priory – yet! If I ever need “treatment”, I hope Press Gazette won’t
take the piss.

Last week’s sly little dig (“Absent Friends”, page 39) is a shameful piece of journalism in the journalists’ paper.

Report the story, for sure. If it’s a growing trend, tell us why. But don’t stick the boot into your readers’

colleagues and friends just when they need our support.
