Ardent roars in with Jag monthly

By Press Gazette

A monthly magazine for fans of Jaguar cars is due to launch in January.

Jaguar Heritage is being published by Ardent Media in collaboration with the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust.

Publisher Simon Beales said: “Jaguar Heritage will be using previously unpublished material to tell the story of the company and the cars bearing the Jaguar, Daimler or Lanchester marque. Everyone has their favourites and we are looking forward to bringing them to our readers.”

Aimed at Jaguar fans aged 45 and over, the magazine promises to encompass a range of designs, including the “exotic curves” of the SS1, the “cops and robbers” glamour of the MK2 and the E-type.

The 84-page full-colour title will be subscriber-based and will have a print run of 50,000. An estimated 15,000 copies will be mailed direct to readers.

Backed by a promotional budget of £145,000, the launch will be publicised in the motoring and national press as well as by direct mail and on news-stands. The first issue is due out on 16 January.
