built at a brownfield site in Didcot, Oxfordshire, and comes in
addition to a £135 million five-year scheme to renew presses at
Harmsworth Quays, in East London, which was completed last November.
The new capacity will allow Associated to produce 128 pages of the
Daily Mail in full-colour and 160-page full-colour Mail on Sundays.

can produce half our pages in colour, but with the addition of the new

we will have the capacity to provide full high quality colour
throughout the country, providing even more value to our readers and
advertisers.”

The Didcot presses will be up and running by 2008

the Mail titles because colour adverts sell for a considerable premium
compared with black and white.
