Official PlayStation 2 Magazine has expanded its editorial team with a number of key appointments.
George Walter, previously news editor, has been promoted to the new role of disc editor, former online editor Tim Clark has been promoted to deputy editor and Ben Richardson joins the title as staff writer.
Walter will work closely with Sony’s special projects team to develop the magazine’s covermounted DVD and build on its status as the only DVD with playable demos.
Editor Richard Keith said: “The creation of this role underlines the importance of this covermount. With great knowledge of the sector, George will be perfect to further grow the DVD’s reputation, building on its content and making the best even better.”
Clark will assist the editor with the day-to-day running of the magazine, liaising with software publishers, commissioning freelances and fulfilling a chief creative role.
Richardson will report on the latest developments and releases in the world of PlayStation 2.
Official PlayStation 2 Magazine is looking for a games journalist to fill the position of reviews editor.
