Newslink extends Journals contract

By Press Gazette

Aberdeen Journals, which publishes Aberdeen’s Press & Journal and Evening Express, has extended its partnership with news delivery service Newslink to receive pictures as well as text.

The Northcliffe-owned titles have advised regular contributors that they now have the ability to receive digital images through Newslink’s Image Handling Service.

Newslink’s business development manager, Iain Fleming, said: “By delivering the images once to us over a landline or mobile phone connection, we can then send them simultaneously and instantaneously to several picture desks.”

In addition to Aberdeen Journals, the service delivers directly to the Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday, Evening Standard, Metro, Express Newspapers, MGN, The Independent, Sport Newspapers, The Guardian, The Observer and DC Thomson.
