The BBC’s national governor for Scotland, Sir Robert Smith, has been reappointed for a second four-year term of office.
The national governor for Northern Ireland, Professor Fabian Monds has also accepted a second four-year term. International governor Dame Pauline Neville-Jones, meanwhile, has had her stay extended by two years until 2005.
BBC Chairman Gavyn Davies said: “It is particularly important for the BBC board of governors to have continuity in the run up to the Charter Review. I am particularly pleased therefore that the experience of these three governors is being retained.”
