Film and music magazine Uncut is launching two special editions to celebrate the lives of rock icons David Bowie and Bruce Springsteen.
The editions will appear with the March and April issues.
The March edition will feature Bowie on the cover with a holographic Uncut foil logo.
Uncut has also secured a deal to have a cover-mounted Bowie tribute CD featuring cover versions of some of his most definitive songs. Blondie have recorded Heroes, Duran Duran has covered Fame and Ian McCulloch The Prettiest Star.
The April edition will feature split covers of Springsteen with each edition carrying a different CD cover-mount tribute. The magazine will also include a countdown of Springsteen’s top 30 songs chosen by his music contemporaries. Both issues will be backed by promotion on Radio 2, Virgin and Capital Gold.
