The Financial Times today announced the appointment of Carlos Grande as marketing correspondent, and Roger Blitz as leisure industries correspondent.
As marketing correspondent Grande will cover the global revolution underway in marketing communications by reporting on the world’s biggest advertisers and marketing services groups, keeping abreast of changes in technology and society as well as in traditional advertising practice.

Roger’s beat will also include the business of sport, writing about the commercial activities and sponsorship deals, as well as the business and marketing aspects, of major sporting bodies.
Most recently Blitz has been a senior UK companies reporter and before that was UK regional affairs editor. He joined the Financial Times in 2000, he has also been the weekend news editor and the assistant UK news editor.
