Showbiz scoop-getter Baz Bamigboye is stepping down from writing his Daily Mail entertainment column after almost 40 years, leaving in March after the Oscars.
He will join US entertainment site Deadline later in the year, as well as pursue other projects.
Bamigboye said: “It’s been a hugely enjoyable run at the Mail and I am so grateful to have enjoyed the support of a superbly talented and loyal journalistic team. They have given me the freedom to do what I love most – breaking the biggest stories from the world of entertainment and showbiz. It’s been an absolute privilege and I wish Ted and the paper every imaginable success.”
