News International has announced a shake-up which will see Sun acting managing editor David Dinsmore (formerly Sun Scottish editor) made executive director of operations.
Richard Caseby will return to the job of Sun managing editor after working on a number of projects directly for the chief executive.
NI chief information officer Paul Cheesbrough is being made chief technology officer for News Corporation. Chief financial officer Susan Panuccio is also moving to a new job at News Corp.

Susan Panuccio, Chief Financial Officer of NI Group Ltd will transfer to News Corporation, from 1 October, to work on the proposed restructure of the company next year. She will be based in London and remains on the NI Group Board.
Chris Longcroft will become the new CFO in London on October 1st.
Chris qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers and Lybrand in 1997; he spent 11 years working for BAT in Russia, South Africa, New Zealand and London, before joining News International in February 2009 as a finance director. Since 2010, Chris has been the Managing Director of Operations, overseeing: printing, distribution, syndication and Brand Extensions.
Paul Cheesbrough, currently the Chief Information Officer for News International (NI), has been appointed Chief Technology Officer for News Corporation. In this position he will be responsible for setting the Company’s global technology strategy as well as coordinating with senior leaders across the organisation to develop new digital products and expand the digital footprint of its portfolio of businesses. Paul will continue to collaborate with the technology team at News International.
Chris Taylor has been appointed as interim Chief Information Officer for NI. Chris is currently Director of Enterprise Technologies at NI and has been a valued and integral part of Paul’s senior leadership team.
David Dinsmore will join the News International Executive as Director of Operations. David worked his first freelance shift on The Sun in 1990, becoming Editor of the Scottish edition in 2006. He was made NI’s General Manager in Scotland in 2010, and more recently acted as The Sun’s Managing Editor in London.
Richard Caseby will return to that post after successfully completing a number of projects working directly for the Chief Executive.
