
Eye to Eye Media will next month launch a new consumer magazine aimed at those that want to live a healthy lifestyle.
The company, which has licensed Healthy Food Guide from its owners in New Zealand, will give the new title away with its Delicious magazine from 3 March.
The magazine will feature recipes for healthy dishes alongside expert advice on health, nutrition and fitness from Olympian Dame Kelly Holmes, nutritionist Amanda Ursell and celebrity chef Gizzi Erskine.
After the initial free 16-page taster magazine, the title will then be sold as a standalone magazine from April, when it will have a print run of 100,000 copies and a cover price of £2.80.
Former Top Santé editor Juliette Kellow is editorial director of Healthy Food Guide UK and Claire Higney, a former editor of the Daily Mirror’s Your Life section, is editor.
Higney said: ‘We believe HFG [Healthy Food Guide] is different from other magazines because it brings together good food, health and wellbeing in one glossy, handbag-size package.”
Eye to Eye Media was founded in 2009 by a team of executives from Seven Publishing Group to run the glossy food magazine Delicious.
