Andria Vidler has been named by Bauer Consumer Media as chief marketing officer for its radio, TV and magazine brands.
Vidler, who joined Emap in June 2005, has most recently been managing director of Magic 105.4 and was responsible for putting magazine brands such as Heat, Closer and Q on digital radio.
In her new role Vidler will be responsible for the marketing of all BCM brands across magazines, radio, online, mobile and TV and will report to Paul Keenan, who was appointed BMC’s chief executive after Emap was bought by German company Bauer in December.
Keenan said he was ‘delighted’that Vidler had taken on the role. ‘She has done an amazing job with the transformation of Magic 105.4 and the development of our digital radio portfolio, working collaboratively across the BCM editorial and commercial portfolio,’he said.
Vidler was MD for Capital 95.8 in London and the Capital FM Network, and also worked at the BBC for six years including head of marketing at BBC News.
