Sinead McIntyre appointed editor of Fabulous as Rachel Richardson leaves News UK

Sinead McIntyre has been appointed editor of the Sun on Sunday magazine, Fabulous, after 20 months as acting editor of the title.

She spent six years at The Daily Mail before joining Fabulous in 2008.

McIntyre said: “I am looking forward to ensuring we continue to provide our award-winning content for many years to come.”

Outgoing editor, Rachel Richardson, leaves the post after 12 years working for News UK.

She joined the company as a reporter in the Scottish office of the News of the World and went on to roles including TV editor and digital editor, before becoming editor of Fabulous in 2011. For the last 20 months she has been working on special projects for The Sun.

Richardson said: “My time at Fabulous has been particularly sweet and I will miss my brilliant team immensely.”
