Look magazine has launched a new range of cosmetics that will be sold in Superdrug stores with a percentage of proceeds going to a national cancer charity.
The Look Beauty cosmetic range includes nail varnishes, eyeshadows, lipsticks and how-to kits, and seeks to raise money for charity Look Good… Feel Better, which helps women cope with the visible side effects of cancer treatment.
Look’ s publishing director Julie Lavington said: “Look carries more beauty editorial than any other magazine, with more than 500 pages each year. Our readers have a huge appetite for new products and we know they will be excited to add these products to their make-up bags, particularly when every product sold will benefit the wonderful work that Look Good…..Feel Better does.”
The collection, which ranges from £4 for a single eyeshadow to £18 for a Glow Kit, will launch at The Look Fashion Show at the new Westfield Stratford City shopping centre on 17 September. The range will then go on sale in 200 Superdrug stores from October.
Some two per cent of income from the cosmetics range will go to charity – with a minimum annual contribution of £20,000.
