Sky News has appointed business correspondent Helen-Ann Smith as its next Asia correspondent.
Tom Cheshire, the Beijing-based incumbent in the role, he has held for four years, will leave China later this year.
A Sky spokesperson said: “Helen-Ann has had a very successful spell reporting in the Business Unit, and the global economic knowledge she’s shown in that role will no doubt be put to good use in Asia.”
