Channel 4 News political correspondent Liz Bates is moving to Sky News in the same role after almost three years in the role. She was previously Westminster correspondent for the Yorkshire Post.
Other shuffles within the Sky News politics team include correspondent Ali Fortescue taking up a six-month attachment to the Westminster team “to build on her political reporting”, plus new arrivals from Times Red Box reporter Mhari Aurora as a politics and business correspondent for the early breakfast show, and BBC South East Today’s Amanda Akass.
