Trinity Mirror Southern MD leaves after 14 years

By Press Gazette

Managing director of Trinity Mirror Southern Graham Mead is leaving the company after 14 years following the completion of the company’s disposal process.

Mead has been replaced by managing director of operations Simon Edgley who will continue to have day-to-day responsibility for West London and Bucks Newspapers and Watford Typesetting which were retained by Trinity Mirror after it sold off many of its other regional newspapers in the south of England.

Edgley will be in charge of the North Surrey and London series, the West London & Bucks Newspapers and London divisions which publish papers including The Wharf, the Hounslow Informer and the Richmond and Twickenham Informer.

Publishing director Liz Dixon will also take on responsibility for newspaper sales and distribution across the division.

Managing director for Trinity Mirror Regionals Georgina Harvey said: “Graham has been an invaluable colleague and a great asset to the business.

‘It has always been a pleasure to work alongside him and we wish him the very best for the future. We also wish Simon and Liz well in their new roles.”
