Sir Ray Tindle gives all full-time staff a £500 pay rise

By Press Gazette

All full-time members of staff at family-owner newspaper group Tindle have been awarded a £500 pay rise.

A similar pay award was made last year. Chairman and owner Sir Ray Tindle prides himself on having made no redundancies throughout the long media recession and instead managing to launch a number of new local titles.

Here is the announcement in full:

At a meeting this week of the entire management of the Tindle Newspaper Group it was agreed that an all-round increase in salaries of £500 would be given to full time members of staff with at least twelve months service with TNL (and pro-rata for part-timers) with effect from October 1st 2014.

A similar pay award was made the previous year.
