The Express and Star titles had the fastest growing newspaper websites in the UK in May 2016.
They grew respectively by 86 per cent 55 per cent year on year.
Mail Online remains top, with 13.9 million global browsers per day according to ABC. But its growth appears to have stalled – it was only up 1 per cent year on year.
The Telegraph posted a rare year-on-year drop, falling 11.5 per cent.
The latest figures do not yet take into account the long awaited relaunch of The Sun website earlier this month.
