A PA for pop-singer Tulisa sent a death threat to a Sun reporter who exposed her alleged involvement in procuring illegal drugs.
The Sun’s undercover specialist Mazher Mahmood revealed yesterday that Gareth Varley sent a 2am email to a Sun reporter saying: “I’m going to kill you bitch.”
The reporter targeted was apparently part of a team of journalists at working on the Tulisa undercover sting for the Sunday edition of The Sun.
Scotland Yard’s Major Crimes Unit told The Sun: “Mr Varey was issued with a police caution over this allegation. He apologised.”
Former X Factor judge Tulisa, 24, was filmed by The Sun in an undercover sting earlier this month apparently facilitating a cocaine deal.
Tulisa and rapper friend Mike GLC, 35, have been arrested released on police bail in the wake of The Sun investigation.
