PR Week editor Danny Rogers has been promoted to editor-in-chief across Haymarket’s Brand Media division.
Rogers, who has been editor of PR Week for six years, will now take editorial charge of Campaign, Marketing, Brand Republic, Marketing, Event and Conference and Incentive Travel.
No new PR Week editor will be recruited, but a journalist will be appointed to the new position of deputy editor.
Rachael Stilwell, Brand Media publishing director, said: “Danny has done a superb job in developing and driving the editorial strategy of PRWeek.
“His success here, coupled with his vision and ideas for the future of our content, make him the perfect candidate for this new, exciting role.”
Rogers said: “I remain passionate about the PR industry and the developing role of professional comms within public life.
“The new role means I will still be closely involved with PR, while developing new types of content for the whole media and marketing sphere.”
Rogers began his media career as a graduate trainee with PR consultancy Paragon Communications. He was previously deputy editor of Marketing magazine.
