NRS combined print and online magazine readership figures give Asda top spot

By Press Gazette

New figures released by the National Readership Survey suggest that Asda is the most widely read magazine title in the UK.

By combining data from a national survey of print readership with web readership data from Comscore, the NRS has come up with a combined print and web readership figure for most of the major magazine titles in the UK.

The below table gives monthly print readership, monthly online readership and then a combined figure which NRS says has been de-duplicated to provide a net total

The full data tables are available from the NRS here.

Asda is a free magazine (and it is worth noting that the website figures are for the main supermarket Asda.co.uk).

All the titles which have a * next to them in the list below quote web figures for a shared group website, or a website which is a more general one and not dedicated to that particular magazine title. Numbers quoted are thousands of readers (000s).
