Heavy metal stalwarts Iron Maiden are again selling out stadiums as a new generation learns how to mosh – and heavy rock magazines Metal Hammer and Kerrang also did well in the second half of 2010.
Future's Metal Hammer rose 0.1 per cent to just over 44,000 with Bauer-published Kerrang was neck and neck up 4.5 per cent.
Elsewhere NME continued to slide sharply and film title Empire remained the top selling magazine in the music and film genre, despite an 11.1 per cent year on year drop.
