InStyle appoints Emily Dean as its new deputy editor

By Phil Scullion

The former deputy editor of the Sunday Express Magazine, Emily Dean, has been appointed as the new deputy editor of InStyle magazine.

Dean will take up her role on the IPC Media monthly with immediate effect replacing Charlotte Moore who was appointed Marie Claire deputy editor in December.

Prior to her appointment Dean worked as an editorial consultant and contributed articles a wide range of magazines, including Red, Glamour and Attitude. She has also previously worked as editor-at-large of the London Evening Standard’s ES Magazine and been showbiz editor of the Mail on Sunday‘s You Magazine.

InStyle has also appointed Amanda Bellan as its new fashion director to replace Chloe Beeney, who left in October to go freelance.

Bellan, who is currently Saturday Times Magazine and Times LUXX fashion director and previously worked in the same role at Esquire, will take up the post next month.
