Good Housekeeping, Woman & Home and Prima among women’s lifestyle mags to grow print sales

By Dominic Ponsford

Glamour was the top paid-for women's lifestyle/fashion magazine in the first half of this year with print sales very slightly up year on year.

The headline magazine ABC figures are boosted this time around by the fact that digital editions are included for the first time.

Several other titles in this sector also managed to boost their print-only sales. Good Housekeeping was up 2 per cent year on year, Prima was up 5 per cent and Woman and Home rose 0.4 per cent.

Yesterday Hearst announced the closure of the print edition of Company, which was losing sales at a rate of 30 per cent year on year. It does not appear in the latest figures.
