The former editorial director of Haymarket Business Media, Dominic Mills, has joined the content agency Redwood as group editor of its Royal Mail account.
Mills, the former editor of Campaign magazine, will oversee a new magazine, digital and email communications and the online marketing resource Mail Media Centre.
Mills left Haymarket, which he joined from Reuters in 1991 as editor of Campaign, last November.
Following stints as editor of Marketing and Management Today he was made editorial director of Haymarket Business Media, which includes the PR Week and Media Week titles, in 1998.
During his time at the company he dealt with more than 40 launches, relaunches and acquisitions.
Commenting on his latest appointment, Mills said: 'I'm delighted to join Redwood. I've admired both it and the content it produces for many years. The opportunity to work on a brand as well-known and prestigious as Royal Mail is one I'm really excited to take on.
'I've followed the business closely during my time as editor of Campaign and then working across Haymarket's brand media titles and I know what a significant part of the marketing landscape it occupies."
Redwood's group editorial director Sara Cremer said: 'Dominic's 25 years of experience as a business editor and his strong knowledge of commercial and digital media makes him perfectly placed to take over as group editor for Royal Mail here at Redwood.
'He oversaw a great deal of change during his time at Haymarket, and his experience will be invaluable in helping drive forward Redwood's business. We're delighted to welcome him to our agency."
