The Times titles are to ease their strict all or nothing paywall to allow limited access to search engines like Google, according to a report.
The Guardian reports that The Times and Sunday Times paywalls are to be eased to allow Google to index headlines and the first couple of sentences of stories.
When The Times and Sunday Times websites went behind paywalls in May 2010 the move was all or nothing, meaning that search engines were allowed to index nothing beyond the homepage of the two sites.
