Mail Online attracted more than 100m monthly unique browsers for the second month running in September.
Despite the figure dropping 3.95 per cent last month the website still reported traffic of 101,545,466.
Elsewhere, every other website audited by ABC reported a drop in traffic in September in month on month terms, after reporting a bumper month in traffic in August thanks to the London Olympics.
Looking at the year on year comparisons, Mail Online was again the fastest growing website – up more than 50 per cent (twice the rate of second biggest site Guardian.co.uk).
The Telelgraph's monthly total was up 35.4 per cent year on year to 51.4m unique browsers worldwide while Mirror Group rose 25.1 per cent to 15.7m monthly browsers.
