Every national newspaper website audited by ABC saw their daily traffic increase in November.
The Metro website, which was relaunched last month, recorded the biggest increase, up 15.4 per cent on its October figures to 319,005 unique browsers.
It was followed by the Standard website, up 8.5 per cent to 156,766, and Mail Online, up 6.6 per cent to 7,109,203.
But the only two websites that saw average daily traffic and monthly traffic by the year on year figures measurement were the Metro and Standard, which was also relaunched earlier this year.
In terms of average monthly traffic, the two websites that saw traffic fall in October were The Guardian (down 1.7 per cent to 70,566,108) and The Sun (down 6.3 per cent to 24,283,825.
The Independent’s average monthly traffic was up 31.5 per cent year on year to 17,873,036, second only to Mail Online (up 32 per cent to 112,167,402.
