Just a day after launching his campaign to raise awareness of the shortage of bone marrow donors, Huddersfield Daily Examiner journalist Adrian Sudbury is taking it to the heart of government.
Now MP Kali Mountford is planning to arrange for the reporter, who is terminally ill with leukaemia, to meet minsters in Westminster, Sudbury’s paper reports today.
The Prime Minster, Gordon Brown, is hoping to attend a meeting when Sudbury meets with health minister Alan Johnson and secretary of state for children, schools and families Ed Balls, the paper reports.
